TRANSFORMING CINEMA ACROSS AIR, LAND, & SEA
behind the lens
Erin Haynes is a cinematographer, camera operator, and camera technician working across air, sea, and land. From serving as jib technician on the Michael Kors and Tory Burch Autumn/Winter 2025 fashion shows, to camera assisting underwater for Apple TV+'s Your Friends & Neighbors, to operating drones in the Louisiana swamp wetlands, Erin combines technical mastery with a keen editorial eye in every environment she navigates.
Her journey behind the camera began in high school, when a film studies class introduced her to women filmmakers and revealed the lack of female presence behind the lens. Inspired to change that, Erin has dedicated thousands of hours to mastering the craft, from camera rental house foundations to dive and aerial certifications, workshops, and mentorship from veteran professionals.
When she is not filming, Erin pursues her adventurous spirit through aerial silks, surfing, and exploring her home, New York City — all experiences that continue to inform her perspective as a storyteller.
