TRANSFORMING CINEMA ACROSS AIR, LAND, & SEA

behind the lens

Erin Haynes is a New York City-based cinematographer, camera operator, and camera technician working across live events, fashion, documentary, commercial, narrative, and studio production. Her work spans air, land, and sea — from contributing camera work to the Autumn/Winter 2025 fashion shows for Michael Kors and Tory Burch, to underwater camera work for Apple TV+’s Your Friends & Neighbors, to operating drones in the Louisiana swamp wetlands.

Most recently, Erin has contributed to productions connected to Condé Nast, Vanity Fair, and Rolling Stone, continuing to build a body of work rooted in versatility, technical precision, and a cinematic editorial eye across a wide range of production environments.

Her journey behind the camera began in high school, when a film studies class introduced her to women filmmakers and revealed the lack of female representation behind the lens. Inspired to help shift that narrative, Erin has dedicated thousands of hours to mastering the craft — from building a foundation in camera rental houses to pursuing dive and aerial certifications, workshops, and mentorship from veteran industry professionals.

When she is not filming, Erin pursues her adventurous spirit through aerial silks, surfing, and exploring New York City — experiences that continue to shape her perspective as a visual storyteller.
